In business since 1951 in the heartland of America's auto industry, Micro Metal Finishing is proud to specialize in metal finishing from our home in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Our expertise is exemplified by our high quality zinc-iron alloy plating. This process has a variety of benefits: it provides improved corrosion protection versus zinc alone; it has even deposit distribution, and also superior lubricity, ductility, and hardness. Electroplated zinc-iron is the best base for a deep, rich black chromate finish, and is highly cost effective. It provides an excellent value for the amount of corrosion resistance it provides: over 500 hours of salt spray resistance. We have a computer controlled process and robotic loads, unloads, and transfers; these processes ensure that we can meet high volume production runs. We use our rack tanks to electroplate zinc-iron alloy to parts up to 40" in length, 12" in width, and to thicknesses based on our customers' specifications.
