Micro Metal Finishing has specialized in nickel plating materials for over 60 years.
Based on our expertise in nickel and zinc-iron alloy plating we recently expanded into the zinc-nickel alloy plating. Of the zinc "family" of plating, zinc-nickel has the highest corrosion resistance: over 1,000 hours resistance in salt spray. Our rack electroplating process is environmentally friendly using trivalent chromium passivates. The alkaline based process provides a superior coating thickness distribution on your parts.
Our zinc-nickel plating racks allow us to plate parts up to 50" long, 15" wide, and our X-ray analytical capabilities ensure we meet the proper plating thicknesses as well as the critical zinc/nickel ratio. Micro Metal Finishing is a perfect source for high volume production runs of automotive components, housings, fasteners, and any parts used in highly corrosive environments. Also zinc-nickel's property allows for its use in high temperature environments with no degradation of the corrosion protection properties.
